For some time I have intended to write some of the more significant events in my life where God either taught me a significant lesson or he did something remarkable. Writing just seems never to happen, so I am trying something else. I have recorded a short video and uploaded it to GodTube (so anyone who wants to can view it).

Fun Fish - Obedient Fish
I took this short video while we were in China in 2007. The Chinese people really enjoy this kind of fish. We often call them goldfish. They are pretty and fun to watch.
In John 21 (The Message) we find this remembrance of a time when the disciples saw Jesus and began to understand who He really is.
Simon Peter announced, "I'm going fishing."
3-4The rest of them replied, "We're going with you." They went out and got in the boat. They caught nothing that night. When the sun came up, Jesus was standing on the beach, but they didn't recognize him.
5Jesus spoke to them: "Good morning! Did you catch anything for breakfast?"
They answered, "No."
6He said, "Throw the net off the right side of the boat and see what happens."
They did what he said. All of a sudden there were so many fish in it, they weren't strong enough to pull it in.
7-9Then the disciple Jesus loved said to Peter, "It's the Master!"
Do you see? The disciples were learning to obey Jesus. He is in charge of fish too. Do you obey Jesus like the disciples were learning to?

The Gift
Iain and Cory, a present is just a gift that is all wrapped up to look pretty. The wrapping is fun, but the gift is the important part. The Bible tells us that "Every good and perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights.........." James 1:17a NKJV. It also says ".......the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23b NKJV. Someday you will understand what that means and accept that gift, but for now we are glad you enjoyed this gift. We love you. Grammy and Papa
