The Moon and Venus and Jupiter together
Iain, this picture is not very clear, but you can see the moon at the bottom right, Venus near the moon, and Jupiter near the upper left of the picture. It was taken on October 31. On November 1 the moon had already moved so it was betweeen Venus and Jupiter in the sky. If you check the sky each night over the next few nights the moon will be higher and higher in the sky. Over time you will also be aware that Jupiter and Venus seem to move closer to each other in the sky. The moon and the planets are always moving.
